About Me

I am a Welsh hobby photographer based in County Meath, Ireland and enjoy shooting landscapes, woodland and seascapes. I bought my DSLR in November 2016 a week or so before a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia; by the time I’d landed back in Ireland, was completely aware of how little I knew or understood about photography.

In early 2017, I began to take an active interest in improving my skills and took part in a half day workshop with a local professional who introduced me to filters and aperture mode. I have since joined Drogheda Photographic Club with the intention of further improving and pushing myself onwards and upwards.

I use a Nikon camera with Cokin filters which normally sit on top of a Vanguard Alta Pro 263 AB 100 (a fantastic and wallet friendly tripod) or when travelling further afield, a Manfrotto Pixi Evo-2 mini tripod.
